January 22, 2020 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

*Event Cancelled*
A rescheduled date/time is not set at present.
For the first Do Lunch of the term, the Kenan Institute for Ethics will be hosting David Hardoon. David Hardoon is the Special Advisor (Artificial Intelligence) at the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). He leads the development of the AI strategy for Singapore’s financial sector and drives MAS’ efforts in promoting open cross-border data flows. David is also External Advisor (Artificial Intelligence) to Singapore’s Corrupt Investigation Practices Bureau (CPIB). The lunch will take place on January 22, at noon.
Do Lunches are an opportunity for face-to-face engagement with practitioners, scholars, and activists, and they are open to undergrads only. Come prepared for lively conversation! This is a great opportunity to ask questions of someone with experience in the fields of finance and technology. Lunch from Happy+Hale is provided. Please rsvp tomari.jorstad@duke.edu, and include any dietary restrictions. Space is limited.
