Kenan Graduate Fellows in Ethics Spring Workshop

April 29, 2019 @ 2:00 pm - 5:30 pm

graduate fellows

Please join the 2018-19 Kenan Graduate Fellows in Ethics for their final research workshop of the academic year.

Panel 1 (2:05-3:05): How ethical or moral constructs might affect political practice. With Sarah Zigler, Antong Liu, Eric Cheng

Panel 2 (3:15-4:15): Representation, perception, and participation for particular groups. With Karen Little, Sara Wingrove, Kelly Hunter

Panel 3 (4:25-5:25): Politics of information, activism, and access. With Marcus Mann, Chris Kennedy, Cole Rizki

Each panel will run for about an hour, with short breaks between. We’ll hear 6-8 minute “TEDx”-style presentations from each panelist, followed by wide-open discussion involving panelists and the audience, and with the aim of making connections among the different strands of research and delving into the practical and normative challenges they raise. Panelists’ topics are described below.
