Nyuol Tong speaks on journey from Sudan to Duke with WUNC’s “The State of Things”

Trinity senior Nyuol Tong, a 2012 Kenan Summer Fellow, spoke with Frank Stasio of the WUNC radio show “The State of Things” about his experience as a South Sudanese American and his writing, which has been published as an anthology by McSweeney’s.

Tong’s Summer Fellow project examined the ethics of belonging and moral dilemmas faced by South Sudanese immigrants to America.
