Steven Powell

Steven Powell is a senior and has been working at the Kenan Institute since his freshman year at Duke. He is majoring in Public Policy and International Comparative Studies with hopes of attending law school in the future. On campus, he is involved with the Community Empowerment Fund, Camp Kesem at Duke, the Climate Migration Lab at Sanford and Citizenship Lab tutoring through Kenan. In his free time, he loves reading, exploring the beautiful outdoors that Durham has to offer. He is passionate about migration/refugee policy, climate change policy, and community service and organizing.
