Nayan Patel

Nayan Patel (T’95) is President and CEO of District Hospitality, a top hospitality and investment management company in the Washington, DC metro area. He is also a managing member of Walker Reynolds, a real estate investment firm with a focus on lodging, also in Washington, DC. In the past, Nayan has been President and CEO of YourDC Hotels and Chairman of the Board for Best Western Hotels and Resorts. He is an active member in the Fairfax Chamber of Commerce, the Washington Convention and Visitors Bureau, and the Prince William (County) Chamber of Commerce. He also belongs to the Asian American Hotel Owners Association and the National Association of Corporate Directors. Nayan is Featured in Harvard Business Review’s book “Building Better Boards” and is a frequent guest lecturer at Georgetown University Law Center. Mr. Patel received a bachelor’s degree from Duke University in Biochemistry and a degree in law from Georgetown University.
