Moral Attitudes
and Decision-Making

Examining moral beliefs and ethical decisions—why and how people, organizations, and societies think and behave the way they do.

Knowing how we think and behave.

How do we live? How ought we live? How can we live? Faculty and students together explore our moral beliefs and their implications. The Institute explores these questions in three distinct faculty-led projects that integrate research, teaching, and practice: The Arete Project led by Farr Curlin and John Rose, the Moral Attitudes and Decision-making Lab (MADLab) led by Walter Sinnott-Armstrong and Jana Shaich Borg, and the Worldview Lab led by Steve Vaisey and Chris Johnson.
