Virtues & Vocations – Lessons from HBCUs on Cultivating Purpose & Community with WSSU Chancellor Elwood L. Robinson

Virtues & Vocations is a national forum hosted by the Kenan Institute for Ethics at Duke University for scholars and practitioners across disciplines to cultivate character in pre-professional and professional education. This summer, Virtues & Vocations will host Reimagining Education: Conversations on Character, Community, and Crisis. On August 18, 2020 at noon join Suzanne Shanahan, Nannerl O. Keohane Director of the Kenan Institute for Ethics and Associate Research Professor in Sociology and Elwood L. Robinson, Chancellor of Winston Salem State University, for a conversation about “Lessons from HBCUs on Cultivating Purpose & Community.” The hour’s conversation will include opportunity for audience Q&A.
