DukeEngage Dublin students create case study on Irish demographic shifts and education

This summer, another set of students participating in KIE’s DukeEngage: Dublin program are learning about the immigrant experience in Ireland’s capital city through engagement with local communities and organizations. This week, in the Letters Home, Sam Marks discusses progress in educational diversity and working with separated children. You can also read Sam and Gayle Powell’s case study on the affects of migration on educational systems. Stay tuned for continued reports from the students, which are also being published in the Irish publication Metro Eireann.

Also, be sure to follow incoming notes from KIE’s intern at the World Food Programme office in Nepal, as well as our two Kenan Summer Fellows.
