Alternative Fall Break 2018 – (Re)Telling History: Exploring Civil Rights in America
The Kenan Institute for Ethics invites undergraduates to apply for an alternative Fall Break experience in Montgomery and Atlanta, October 5-8, 2018.
Students will explore how we confront the contemporary challenges of civil rights and race in the U.S. within the shadow of slavery, lynching, and segregation. Students will travel to the National Memorial for Peace and Justice and the Legacy Museum in Montgomery, Alabama; the MLK National Historical Site in Atlanta; and other locations that provoke our collective memory.
This trip is no-cost to students who are accepted.
