Refugee Monologues

On Sunday, April 21, 2013, the twelve students of the 2013 DukeImmerse: Uprooted/Rerouted program recited monologues culled from their field interviews with Bhutanese refugees in Nepal and Iraqi refugees in Cairo. These narratives shed light on the real-world situations that lead to displacement and the hope for resettlement. Click on the images below to view videos and read text from the monologues.
