Team Kenan is now accepting submissions for the 2013 What Is Good Art? Competition. The theme for this year’s competition is “Self + Other.” Submissions are welcome in nearly any kind of visual art. All currently enrolled Duke students (undergraduate and graduate) are encouraged to apply!
This year’s distinguished panel of judges includes:
William Fick, Visiting Assistant Professor of the Practice of Visual Arts
Katherine Hyde, Director, Literacy Through Photography Program, Duke Center for Documentary Studies
Wayne Norman, Professor of Ethics in the Department of Philosophy and the Kenan Institute for Ethics
Suzanne Shanahan, Acting Director, Kenan Institute for Ethics
Walter Sinnott-Armstrong, Professor in Practical Ethics in the Department of Philosophy and the Kenan Institute for Ethics
$1,000 will be awarded among the winning entries, with $500 for first place.
