It is definitely not fair that TSA feels as though they can pick and choose which people they wish to exploit. The exploitation travelers must endure is already bad enough. Once someone realizes that they are not only being exploited, but they are alone receiving this treatment, safety precautions turn into villainous attempts. However, the invasive searches can be justified in the interest of the safety of our country and its citizens. Once TSA becomes selective about who they wish to search and invade the privacy of, their mission becomes completely illegitimate. Their tactics begin to seem more taunting than ones that actually possess altruistic intentions for the people. TSA should be very careful when it comes to which travelers they wish to exploit. Search them all or search no one. And they must practice the same level of invasiveness with each person whom they search. If they fail to comply to ethical rules as such, they risk a lawsuit or serious retaliation on their hands.
