Reg-RR-capPlease join Rethinking Regulation at the Kenan Institute for Ethics for a “Regulatory Round Robin” session on November 10. At the seminar, Jim Cox, Bentley Coffey and Andrea Renda will present briefly on their current and planned research. These presentations will be followed by discussion among the full group about promising avenues of joint research, teaching and/or outreach in the thematic areas outlined below:

Current/past themes in which we have already generated much activity:
Regulatory Responses to Crises (forthcoming book and Bass Connections team)
Competition Policy (forthcoming special issue of Law and Contemporary Problems)

New/emerging themes include:
Adaptive Regulation (Laws that Learn)
Retrospective Review (Bass Connections team)
Multi-agency Conflict/Cooperation
Third Party Auditing
Sub-prime market regulation (more than just housing, but payday lending, online lending, microfinance, etc)
