Amber Diaz Pearson

 
Amber Díaz Pearson is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Kenan Institute for Ethics at Duke University. She works with the Duke Human Rights Center, was on the 2012 Winter Forum team, coordinates the Spring 2012 Ethics and Film series, and teaches Refugee Policies and Practice for DukeImmerse: LEAPED. Prior to joining the Institute’s staff, Amber was a Kenan Graduate Fellow and held the 2010-2011 Instructorship in Ethics. Her research interests include international ethics, public opinion, and foreign policy; her current research uses experimental methods to study public opinion responses to perceived deception by political leaders. Amber holds a B.S. in Political Science and a B.A. in Spanish from Arizona State University, and a M.A. and Ph.D. in Political Science from Duke University.
