The Center for the Study of Medical Ethics and Humanities
aims to promote excellence in scholarship and teaching in
medical ethics and the medical humanities. The Center creates
an interdisciplinary forum where physicians and scholars
can examine important questions at the intersection of medicine,
ethics, and the humanities. Through its work, the Center
hopes to play a vital role in informing discussions about
critical issues related to medical ethics and the humanistic
aspects of medicine as well as to serve as a model for training.

of Duke University's Institute for Genome Sciences and Policy,
