KIE joins world celebration of “Global Ethics Day”

Over 60 academic institutions around the world joined the Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs in celebrating their second annual Global Ethics Day in mid-October, including the Kenan Institute for Ethics at Duke and Duke Kunshan University. KIE’s participation involved a special edition of the Ethics Couch, an extension of the TK Couch in which students load up inflatable furniture and a range of conversational topics for guerilla ethics campaigns across campus. The event was begun by the Carnegie Council as part of the three-year project “Ethics for a Connected World.”
