Academic Integrity Council at Duke University
Center for Academic Integrity at Duke University
Established in 1992, CAI is a consortium of colleges, universities,
and secondary schools from across the United States, Canada,
Puerto Rico and Europe. CAI's mission is to identify, affirm,
and promote the values of academic integrity across campus
communities.
Honor
Council at Duke University
The Kenan Institute for Ethics, along with the Center for
Academic Integrity's Executive Director Dr. Diane Waryold,
works with the Duke Honor Council to promote academic integrity
on the Duke campus. Dr. Waryold serves as the faculty advisor
to this group. Activities include the signing of the honor
code by first-year students at Fall convocation, educational
workshops with students, faculty and teaching assistants,
and an annual Ethics and Integrity Week held in the Spring.
The current chair of the Honor Council, David Chokshi, serves
on the board of the Center for Academic Integrity.
